Hello all, thought I'd post a few pics of a system I completed last winter. For years I struggled with how to do a clean and simple 6.5" speaker install in the doors and yes, I have seen many other examples including "Glock and Rolls" install pics....after viewing his and others at least I knew it could be done. A lot of time was put into templates for both speaker mounts and building ABS panels to seal up the doors before sound deading. Pioneer DEH-80PRS doing the x-over and time correction on 3 channels, high passed L+R front channels and a single rear sub channel. Amplification done by an older Alpine 3554 wired to MB's Q 6.5"s and a single JL Audio 10W3V2 at 2ohms. System by my own evaluations sounds sharp and tight, solid mid bass and lower out of the front doors making it easy for the rear sub blend right in to the front stage. I wasn't able to load all the pics in one shot so scroll down for more. thx
