It did and made the pass you are talking about with it.

John, You by anychance don't know of anybody looking to buy Kenny's old Regal do you? Ron is putting it up for sale. kenny d. just did up the motor last year and only has one burnout on it! It would be a nice car for someone all fresh and ready to go.

Kshef, sorry didn't mean to hijack your thread!:(

Walt,

I am not sure. Kenny mentioned that only a handful of these were produced before olds cancelled the project.
Kenny used it so that he could technically use a OLDS/buick motor in his cutlass in the NHRA. When he showed me the motor I was like big deal, I did not pick up on it. Then he asked me to look at my block and then I started tripping!

It is basically a stage 2 block with the lower pan rails
up to the main capps attach to the block like a sbc.

I was just curious. I saw a few of these blocks about a month ago and the guy who had them seemed to think they would not work without major mods???

Would you guys be willing to sell it as a roller?
Does it still have the iron heads? What did it Dnyo at?

Last but not least break down the pricing...

Thanks in advance!

Ron wants to sell it complete,he would entertain offer of a GNX and cash. Yes it still has iron heads. I think it made about 1475 h.p. on Kenny D's dyno. Ron never really leaned on it, It ran 7.54 with a 1.01 sixty foot,Kenny said after he freshend it up last year that it should pick up 2~3 tenths, but as I said before no passes on it,cleaned out the converter staging it and never raced last year after that. If you are serious I could e~mail Ron's phone number to you!

I will ask around... I need to get into a house before I take on a project of that magnitude. At least if I want to stay married!!! =)
