6 Speed Tranmission:

I remember reading about a guy who was using a T56 and making a way to bolt it to the 3.8 GN Turbo engine. Anybody have a link to this thread or webpage? Or know of any places that have don this already? Thanks

Whoever is doing it will tell you not to.

The stock 3.8L longblock doesn't have the RPM capability to make a manual transmision fun and makes too much torque to allow one to survive.

A stage II motor on low boost would work better. At least a good steel crank and good flowing heads are a must.

Do a search, there should be a ton of reading on this.

in the hybrid section on turbobuick with an "S" .com there is a GN powered Triumph (can you say fast) with a '98 Camaro T-56. Expensive proposition and slower in the 1/4..... but it may be more fun.
