80 Monte Carlo Turbo setup in a Hybrid build:

So I have a major exhaust leak in the crossover pipe flange to passenger manifold tapered 'cone' joint. Is there a donut/graphite gasket that is supposed to fit in this joint? I've tried readjusting and tightening the joint but it still has the leak. Pipe is solid and the manifold 'cone' is not damaged. Any ideas or suggestions?

There's no gasket or donut used on the crossover to manifold connections. Does the crossover fit ok on the manifolds before before you slip the flange up?
A lot of us use a film of high temp RTV on the mating surfaces.
Perhaps a misalignment or damage on the taper.

Make sure it is seated square and the nuts or bolts are tightened evenly. If the flare on the pipe is damaged even slightly, it will not seal. As mentioned by WarWagon, high temp sealer can help.
