there are big prices differences between new and almost new.
my friend too picked up a 67 for less the 800 but it was a non ball bearing, E cover size. Pretty much the smallest 67 they make. But if thats fine with you, just make sure you dont pay over $750 for a 67 non ball bearing used. New add no more then $200 to that. But if you want a big boy 67; dual ball bearing, Q trim, big H cover, the price increases dramatically.....I was quoted a 3-4 month wait, for a new 67 dbb Q trim with an H cover. NOT to mention over 2k on the price tag. But a general new 67, 3 bolt, ball bearing p trim with any cover and ayn exhuast houseing is about $1300 brand new.
If I didn't find an absolute awsome deal on my turbo(t66); I would have got a 67. big shaft, 3 bolt, non bb, 67 Q trim, H cover, .85 ex housing (can you say f me!) That turbo is sweet. And because its a Q trim, later (if the prices ever settle) you can ADD dual ball bearing catridge to it. And have a true 67dbb Qtrim with a H cover, the biggest baddest 67 in ALLLLL the land! If you buy new, let the venders fight it out for your business, if you buy used consider the t66 dual ball bearing. Good for 10's ez from what I hear, Ill be trying to find out soon enough.
IMO of course. I was shopping for a 67 over a month, I have done my research But you dont have to listen to me what do I know

my gn is broke
