I am guilty of that.

I shot an early '80s Malibu for a friend of mine in that lime light green. It looked pretty cool with the satin black stripe going down the hood. He did it to aggravate his MOPAR buddy that he was always able to outrun. When you run in the nines with your daily driver, you can get away with more.

I came across that yesterday and meant to post it here. Nothing wrong with trying something a bit different, it's just paint after all. Very clean car.

Green

The green is wild like it but the way he has the stripe cross diagonaly over rear panels is lame. Should have left the stripe off or straight up and down rather then diagonally.

stripe, stickers, kragen spoiler... all it needs are some mudflaps, white letter tires, and a cb antenna

I like how he did the door panels except that he needs a grey handle instead of black.
