Putting a price/value on a car is something I get asked a lot, and it's the hardest question for me to answer. I'll give you my 2¢ on it.

Dollarwise, a '79 TR isn't worth much more in comparison to other cars of the time. It is a performance model, so it gets a premium there, but it won't pull what a '79 H/O will. It will bring what a similiarly equipped V8 G-body (OK A-body) would bring. You likely can't make $ buying and reselling it, unless your getting a great deal.

BUT we all know that any turbo V6, even a carb/turbo has potential. It's very different than an SFI/Turbo, but that's half the fun.

probly worth that in parts for someone who has a carbed turbo car.

I believe these are just a bit wider in the grill and just maybe that powerstroke would fit without cutting the headlight buckets. Now we're talking a sleeper.
