My friend has a 8.5" rear out of a 81 pontiac. Was a v-6 car, now has a 455. Was told it is a 3.73 posi, drum brake, has all the hardware for the swaybar as well. He want's $400 for it. Let me know and I can get you in contact with him. Thanks, Gabe

Coil Spring

No, I'm almost positive it is a coil spring set up. The car is an '81 grand prix. I know it is also a g-body and I thought all the g-bodys were coil spring in the rear. I can find out for sure. I'll call him tomorrow. -Gabe
