8.5 rear

I am looking for a 8.5 rear open or posi for about less $600 and within 200 miles of Madison WI. I know this is a tall order but worth a try.

I have an 8.5 listed in parts for sale that is listed at $875. It was originally built by Quick Performance (Quick Performance INC.) here in Ames, IA. I just got it out of the car and it looks to me that it will need a pinion seal. The c-clip eliminators are seeping too but that is fairly simple to do. I would also weld the tubes while I was at it but that is up to you. Check out the listing of extras on it and let me know. I am certain that Q.P. would be glad to go through it and do these things if you wanted. Based on the things it needs that I didn't know about, I'll take $750. I know it is more than $600 but I think it's a great deal for someone. I have a pic. if you want it. Hope that helps!
