82 Regal ? on wiper motor

I have a 82 regal with a stage II motor converted, Now the question is i have bi-pass the switch in the steering column to work the wiper arms and hook up a togo switch to turn on the motor to get the wipers to work but i get no travelor sweep in the wipers on the windshield, is there a wiper motor that will work and bolt up in the same place and work off a togo switch but use the same hook up to the motor,one other thing does the switch in the steering column work the travel or the sweep in the arms,any any info would help thanks Dan.
