Resume/Accel Function on Turn Signal Switch

I have an original turn signal switch that has all possible functions I believe. Cruise, intermittent wipers, high/low beam, signal lights, windshield washers. Cruise control works but if it's cancelled and I try to resume or accelerate, that function doesn't seem to work. Is there something I can do to fix it? The R/A button doesn't seem to do anything.

There's three switches in the assembly the R/A is bad, you could simulate it with a pushbutton or replace the assembly which is the proper way to go about it.
