Hey how do you tell if your engine has a roller cam or hydraulic without complete engine tear down. If I can use engine serial #'s where are they located on Buick v-6.

Factory cars didnt come with a roller cam, if one was put in after only way to tell is to pull the intake.
Im not sure you'd be able to see enough if you pulled a valve cover and used a flashlight to look down a push rod hole in the head but you could try that too.

when you replaced the coil pack did you also replace the coil module? If the stuff inside is real soft, I would consider replacing it.
