84-85 ECM swap to 86-87

I was thinking of swaping my ECM if i ever have any problems with my existing 85 stock one. I was wondering what are the requirements to make it work. I have a extra 86 ECM, and a LT1 MAF,but no translator. Also i have the adapter for the coil to run a 86-87 coil on an 85 harness.

Do i have to change my whole harness to run the 86 ECM?

Do i have to change my whole harness to use the LT1 MAF?

Does eric burn chips for this kind of application?

i'm running an 87 ecm with the stock '84 maf and a turbotweak chip.
i have a total of $110 into the swap.

Something else you would need is an IAT sensor with the harness, WHICH I just happen to have! =-) 45 shipped. Extremely easy to install. You will need this whenever you add a scanmaster as well.

i took the IAT and wires out of a 92 Caprice TBI engine harness i have laying around.
