Hi,to all

I have up for sale an 84' Regal Sumerset. Let me start by saying this is a project, but I have seen much worse. This car is very cosmetically challenged but is all there with the exception of the bumper fillers. Those are scattered all over the roads of the great USA one piece at a time

The bad: The odometer reads 56,575 miles but the title indicates an odometer descrepancy so for arguments sake let's say 156,575 plus the 2000 miles or less I drove the car. It is a solid car with minor surface rust on the drip rails and under the doors and a very small spot on the trunk but none of it is rot or has turned into a hole. It has no head liner, the bumpers have lots of surface rust, and the top of the back seats are faded. The drivers side power seat motor runs but the seat don't move it quit working on me and I was told it was a coupler that likely broke. The aletrnator belt squeaks which comes and goes and the windshield needs replaced has 2 spots that look like a rock hit it. You can see to drive just fine cause it hasn't spidered out of control. Tranny leaks a little fluid but shifts with no problems.

The good: Solid body can't find any dents. Exhaust looks to have been replaced recently and the floors look solid. I drove this car 50 miles round trip daily to work before getting a Ford Focus. It has the 231 V-6 motor and it sounds like it should. Wheel moldings are in good shape along with chrome trim on and under the doors. Car has a very nice ride to it and seats are comfy.

Not sure how many Somersets were made but betting it wasn't too many.
Asking Price is $1,200

Floor pans are good, door bottoms has a little rust no holes can be sanded to bare metal and painted..Wheel wells are good also... This is a nice solid foundation for the money and for someone looking to turn this thing into a "Hot Rod"
