my 84 gn runs good and cranks up just fine. my issue is when you floor it takes off and starts building boost and starts pulling hard until you hit about 3/4 throttle and then it kind of bog down, if you let off the gas a little bit to 3/4 throttle or so then it starts running better and not bogging down but if you floor it at any speed it boggs at 3/4 throttle and up. it has ran like this since i bought the car a month ago. just installed a new 1987 gm ccci and conversion wiring kit and a borg warner coil pack and wires and delco plugs and 87 crankshaft sensor and harness. and now it runs exactly the same as bofore. i noticed when you put the 86-87 ccci and coil pack on the 84-85 gn people put the spark plug wires on the opposite side, like 1-3-5 would be at the front of the motor and 2-4-6 would be on the back with 84-85 gn. but when people put the 86-87 ccci and coil pack on the 84-85 they have 2-4-6 on the front and 1-3-5 on the back and thats how it was set up when i bought the car and it missed then and also ran like shit but it did drive from texas to alabama like that but when i got it home i put the spark plug wires on like the 84-85 gn 1-3-5 on front and 2-4-6 on the back and now it idle's good like that and runs good and builds good boost until you hit 3/4 throttle and it boggs until you let off a little. were as before i swaped the wires it ran like crap but it did run. so anyone had this problem or know what i should do? the engine is stock but it has headers and dual flowmasters and turbo tweak chip.

i do not have a boost gauge and i have a digital dash and the boost sensor is bad so i have no way of telling what the boost is. im in the process of putting one on though.

If you send me the numbers on your chip, I can look it up to see how it's programmed. Maybe it has a little too much fuel or something. You'll have to pull the chip and look at the label on the bottom.
