I screwed something up the other night and for some reason coolant was pouring out of my motor. The motor has less than 1,000 miles since completely rebuilt and about 4,200$ into the motor. and a new rebuilt trans with shift kit(less than 1000 miles) . I lost interest in messing with this car to be honest.. I just need a car that I can rely on to get to work and school. Open to trades or offers. I am asking 8,000 for the car. Thanks!

Where exactly is it "pouring" from?

Out of anger, stress and disappointment I hardley even looked. I threw my ratchet through the wall, ran to my computer and posted it. It's coming from above the timing chain and when I turn the relay on...fuel slowly squirts out of my regulator. Something above the timing chain is cracked

Oh I wish it was a hose leak...some cast iron right above my timing cover is split in half...connected directly to my fan

Yeah, thats no good. Contact earl on this board, or any venvor. You can have a running car for about $350 and 4 hours if you take your time.

Looks like the line up dowel pin got bound up and when the water pump was tightened up it cracked the timming cover you need a new timming cover and make sure all holes are clear and free from casting slag/flash its possible the hole where the dowel goes in may have had trash in it or it wasnt machined all the way.

9secv6 is on it. Head down to the wrecking yard and get a timing cover and water pump setup off the front of a 3.8. You have a giant leak as that is the water pump under there and it is pumping your coolant through that hole.
Was it like this when you picked the car up, or is this something that developed later?

Haha it's all cool guys I just posted the damn car for sale because I was beyond pissed lol..I picked up a timing cover and I began to remove mine.. Can you guys help me with basics as this is my first time doing this. This is a newly rebuilt top/ bottom motor and something happened when I jacked the car down the other night and my fan caught on something as the car was being dropped and it pulled the fan up and it took the water pump cover with it cracking it clean through..

What size is that bolt in the second pic..can't seem to find anything that fits it to take it off
