84 Tranny Question

Did the 84 GNs have the same BRF coded tranny with the good valve body? Also if you have a non GN 200-4r can you upgrad it to have a valve body that is just as good?

84 GN Valve bodies are a BQ code and are similar to the BRF code units.

There are some minor differences but they are still considered a performance VB and will wokr for most purposes, use the matching governor with the VB.
