86 87 conversion

How much will it cost to change over, or should I spend 3k to juice this motor, I was figuring that I would buy a tA 51 turbo from turbo repair, Spearco intercooler, #36 injectors, Walboro 307 fuel pump and cam to get this motor rolling, but I really like the setup of the 86 87 models Any adivce would be great

lookup for quicker6 (Dereck) and 84tt (Koa) in the Hawaii section. they did a 86/87 conversion to Koa's 84 TR.

Best way to do it is get a crashed 86-87. Then you will have everything you need and can sell off what you dont need.

for the $3000 your talking you should be able to pull it off but it would be with stock 86-87 parts which will probly still be more uprade than what your talking for the hotair

Thanks guys, I am glad to hear your advice, I have learned a lot form all of your threads and asking questions, I know where I can get a complete motor and all the goodies for 2500 so I will probably get it and switch over before I drop a ton of money in this hotair thanks
