In my quest to purchase an 86/87 GN I see that the chrome wheels (my favorite style) seem to have a different stance on some cars. I know that a larger tire helps fill up the wheel opening, but it looks like more than tire size.

Questions- Is there more than one size offset on the chrome wheels?
Do some guys run a spacer to offset the wheel for a deeper look?
Are stock wheels 15x7?
What's a set of clean factory chrome wheels usually sell for?

Thanks

Carl

The stock chrome are 15x7. Depending on the condition of the wheel will determine the price. I sold a set of decent driver quality for 300 but purchased a set of never mounted for 1200. Some sell restored wheels that go for 900-1100. If your looking for something inbetween driver and show your will probably have to spend about 500. Good luck.

You can also get some stock-appearing widened GN wheels...You can have them made to the width you want 15"x8", 15"x10", 15"x12" also with the rear spacing you want 4.25", 4.50", 4.75", etc...There are several places selling them like Brian at GBodyParts.com Online. A popular choice is to have two stock ones in front, and have a pair of wider ones made for the rear, which I had for a while...

Claude. :)

I picked up a good set of stock 86/87's for $200... the chrome was good, not tarnished or peeling, but the black was flaking... several hours of taping them off, and repainting, they look great!

i have a set that are decent. that im looking to get rid of they are on my car at the moment will take 200 for them check out my pics.
