86-87 TR alternator wiring.

How many wires are supposed to go to the voltage regulator in the alternator and what are their colors and orientation? I installed a Modern Musclecar voltage booster a whole back and am trying to put the car back to stock. Any help would be appreciated!

Brown wire to the lamp (L) terminal, that's it. Make sure when the ignition key is on (engine not running), the alternator light on the dash lights up. Otherwise the alternator will not charge.
