86 t-type gas tank seal

Anyone know a source for the rubber gasket which goes on top between tank and the round plate which holds the fuel pump assembly?

Also, is there an alternative type strainer instead of using the sock?

I have seen them on the Help racks. It was a new lock ring and O-ring gasket together.

For the sock/strainer, I haven't seen anything designed for this. Although with some fine SS screen may be able to put something together.

In automotive supply stores. It is a rack of parts with the trade name 'Help'. These racks include a bunch of different items to help out with the small parts we require. Sometimes they are circular on a turn table. Other times they are a section of a standard store rack/shelf.

They do have a web presence someplace here on the 'net. MotorMite is another trade name they use.

You can also try some of the vendors here. But I wouldn't want to do an $8 mail order, which is why I mentioned the Help rack.
