Debating on selling my 86 Regal T-Type. I dont know much about the car and being active duty living on the ship makes me feel like she should have a home with a garage. I am the third owner. Car originally came from Tallahassee FL, and the second owner moved it up to Charleston SC, where I purchased it when I was in school. Ive had her for 2 years now and have put about 2300 miles on. Very rarely driven and I figured its time to just cut the cord.
You can see the amount of modifications that have been made to the car, the paint is also aftermarket by House of kolor. It is a decent job but up close it has some runs. Mainly on the rocker below the doors. She doesnt have any rust except for a quarter size surface bubble in the water tray(dont know what its called) around the trunk, underneath the trunk lid. Interior is very clean, the drivers side seat has a poped seam but no material damage. Lastly, the rims pictured are no longer on the car, one of them cracked and I replaced them with 15" Cragar soft 8's.
The bad: This is the big hiccup with the car, the 2nd owner installed an aftermarket security system in the car, and somewhere there is a short in the system. So the alarm with randomly go off, and drain the battery. And recently the horn stopped working so the alarm doesn't make any noise it just flashes the headlights and taillights.
Im attaching the mod list the previous owner gave to me. I havent done anything with the car other than oil and trans fluid changes.
She has 46xxx original miles and is very straight.
If anyone has any questions I will check the thread often or pm me.
Im not sure what a fair asking price would be but im almost positive I wont get how much I paid for it. Probably got a little ripped off in hindsight.
