11,760 mile WH-1 for sale
I'm offering my '86 T Type WH-1 for sale. It was a race car ,but not now, hence the low miles. documented. this car was purchased from this website . See posting by "scottbanner" on July 16,2005 titled, " 9K mile 86 t type". Nobody believed the miles ! I bought it running on 5 cylinders; bad connection on inj. wire.
Un opened engine with LT-1 valve springs. Many upgrades. Currently has gray 45/45 leather seats. 90 % stock parts stored including original bucket seat interior. TE45, 009, 15 row stretch IC, Hemco, coatedTHDP, Hooker exh.,Scanmaster & Boost Controller, spare 15X8 1/2" wide T type wheels BFG tires on all six wheels, R134 AC, Ramcharger dual fans with relays, original paint, headliner, trunk trim. no T tops or moonroof.
The car drives exactly like new. Why shouldn't it ? Lasseter's appraisal almost 2 years ago was this high before leather interior , trunk trim, full exhaust system, dual fans, HPC coatings, etc.
$19,000 (352) 751-1960 eves Central Florida

I've seen this car before and I can say it's a rare and clean car. You would have a have a hard time finding one as nice with low miles.

Race car way back

This car was raced by Scott's uncle, the original owner . From what I can determine, he raced it with a "Cheeta" turbocharger which is a TA series, stock injectors, etc.He weled the outside of the header tubes and ported them inside and added an ATR crossover pipe. He died about 1996 .
Scott inherited it so to speak. Scott added a TE 52, 009's, Vigilante T.C. , PTE FMIC and a host of other goodies. When I bought it, it was running on 5 cylinders whenever it wasn't at W.O.T. at 26# boost.
I put a 15 row stretch I.C. on it and in general took it back to a street tune at 19- 20# boost. The intake and heads have never been removed. I do not race the car, but do enjoy a quick 0- 70 blast once in a while.
