87 Buick Century Speed Sensor Location?

I know this is not TR related but I did'nt know where else to post it and figured it would get more views here. I have an 87 Century 2.8/TH125 trans and analog dash as my daily driver. I need to replace the VSS which went out after 182000 miles on the way back from the Nats. Does anyone know if it is trans mounted or behind the dash. This would just save me alot of searching. Any help would be appreciated.

VSS

The vehicle speed sensor is in the dash.
If you have a speedo cable comming out of the trans to the dash, the VSS is on the back of the cluster where the cable attaches.
