About the car -
I have owned this car since 1992. I bought it with approx 38K miles. The miles I put on it were mostly easy highway miles. I never raced the car and have honestly taken well care of her. It drives solid, no rattles, squeaks, etc. Engine is really strong, tranny shifts hard and positive, w/ 2nd gear "chirp"! Always maintained with the best OEM or aftermarket parts as needed.
It is very clean inside...never smoked in. All upholstery is very nice, carpet is still like new, custom floor mats, dash is very nice. There is NO body rust whatsoever, no dents, dings, chips, or scratches. Paint is still very nice 9/10. I have spent considerable time, cleaning and painting parts of the underside. There was/is some minor rust on the underside (since 25 years old) but nothing serious. The car was undercoated prior to my owning it. I had a lot of the AC parts replaced a few years ago (evaporator, condenser, lines, etc..) but since not driving it I think it needs recharged. EVERYTHING else on the car works as it should.
I have driven the car very little in the past 5-6 years, less than 1,200 miles. It has been in my garage always covered but taken to an occasional car show and for a drive.
I just finished doing some service work on it. I installed new valve cover gaskets & a rear main seal. The inside of the lower half of the motor was extremely clean when I had the pan off. I always run synthetic oil. I installed a new fuel tank sending unit since the gage was way off. While tank was off I put in a new Poston high performance pump in I had bought years ago. New fuel filter installed. Gage works good! I put in new plugs, new tranny filter and fluid. I performed all spring cleaning procedures on it. The engine compartment is fairly clean.
I have all the original parts for the car (except exhaust). I have a new high flow cat for the car which is not on it now. I have a "test" pipe on it right now. I also have a new adjustable fuel regulator for the car and a few other things somewhere.
I just don't drive the car anymore and sort of lost interest. I feel bad selling it, but I really want it to go to a GOOD home and let someone else drive her and have fun with it. It really is a NICE car inside and out. I did baby this thing all these years.
I am posting it 4-sale on here first, than it goes up for sale next week locally. We have some pretty big weekly car shows in town and I am thinking of taking it there with 4-sale on it. Not too many GN's in my area so may be some strong interest in it.
I will have some pictures of it posted up here on Sunday / Monday. Right now the car is still up on jacks in my garage. I want to take some underside shots of it tonight and with the wheels off it and post those. I need to get it down and wash it and get some outdoor pictures of it. I will take a bunch of detailed pictures and will e-mail those to anyone seriously interested in it versus posting a bunch of pictures here.
Please ONLY contact me via my e-mail; mortheol@yahoo.com. My name is Ron and am located in upper Northwestern Pennsylvania near lake Erie. I will get back to you as soon as possible and give you more contact info.
I am asking $16,750 for the car (on here). Please NO trades.
Thanks
