87' Drivetrain Swap Into 79' Turbo Monte Carlo Need Help!!!!

i am taking in this job for my bud casue he only needs this left in order to start the car if anyone can guide me in the right direction it would be great i would figure from the SFI 87' harness i just need to power up the underdash fuse box starter hot wire and ignition switch hot wire i also think there is a fuse which comes from the ECM going to the factory fuse box in the 87' car i saw there is an ECM fuse i would need to connect this also right.


any help with this would be greatly apprecaited.

I swapped the entire Turbo Regal dash and complete harness over into my 78 Malibu. It saved me a bunch of headaches since everything is there to do the swap. If you don't swap the dash also you will have to figure out the gauge wiring, wiper and light switch wiring since the Monte uses different style switches.


If you choose to splice the two cars harnesses together I'd get a wiring diagram from both year model's and go from there.
