87 exhaust system on 84

What aftermarket systems could I buy that would fit my 84 with the rear exit behind the tires and the y-pipe dual mufflers. I can only find them for 86/87..

The 86-87 cat back will fit....only difference is the connection at the down pipe and cat/test pipe location. Here is a pic of the 86-87 system I recently removed from my 85...(installed a GN1 3" system)View attachment 191896

You will need to weld a flange on to the front of a 87 catalytic or test pipe to fit the 84-85, the 86-87 cat/test pipe slip fit onto the downpipe, (as shown in pic- exhaust on left)- this pic is also on the previous link I posted... That is a Hooker exhaust system.

I got a 87 hooker setup on my 84,huge improvement.hack off the flange from the downpipe to convertor and use an 87 convertor or testpipe. when I did mine ATR was still open so I am running their 2 1/2 stainless downpipe to a test pipe but looking at getting a 3 inch downpipe so this setup mite go away as I will got with a 2 3/4s dual or single 3 in

Ahhhh sorry just noticed this thread lol I have an 87 hooker system on my car but it's complete shit.. Leaks everywhere that I just welded up but it sounds terrible.. Maybe new mufflers. And the exhaust hits the pass. floorboard and shakes the car on a cold start up. It also rubs on the drive shaft
