analog dash or digital shouldnt matter as there is only one engine harness for the 87 3.8T and one for the 86 3.8T ... the 86 harness differs slightly from the 87 but no functional differences and most would never know .
if your talking about a complete harness with all sensors/relays that would be on the fenders ...for analog dash it would have a two bar map on pass fender bracket , the digital dash would have the hobbs switch , the connectors for either sensor are on the engine harness.
