bump

come on guys, this is a really clean car! is it *that* overpriced?? :D
do I need to add a poll to this thread to see what it's worth??? :p
buy it now and the TE45a comes with it, but I'll probably swap the 45a for a 44 is a couple of weeks.

No such thing as overpriced, just need a buyer, good looking ride, try ebaying it.Your price looks similar to ones listed there. Plus you may be able to sell the not installed items separately.Good luck on sale

Car looks nice if you have the stock 87 GN wheels I think those look better on that car. It looks like a hot air GN with those wheels. It's a small thing but you are asking top dollar for your car.

REDUCED $15,500 (car only, no extra parts)
I have replaced the factory door speakers with new Kenwood 5 1/4" speakers. Also the trunk-mounted amp is brand new and the rear deck speakers are brand new Infinity "Reference Series" 6x9's. Also, I *may* be swapping the TE45a for a TE44 - but I haven't done that as of this posting. If it sells soon the 45a will stay on it.

bigZ, suicide six -

thanks for your comments. I wasn't aware anyone had replied to my thread, looks like I'm not getting my post notifications.

anyway, I don't have the stock wheels and I know what you mean about it looking like a hot-air, however I really do actually prefer the hot-air GN wheels over the stock '86/'87 wheels. For what I spent having those restored, I could have put a set of Welds on it, but it was just my personal preference. Around here Welds are "belly-button". My first choice would have been Simmons, but the car would have looked silly with only one wheel on it. :p

And as for waiting for the right buyer, well I wish I could, but I'm selling it because my wife is about to quit working full-time and I need to sell it pretty quickly.

Thanks,
Rob

so when can I expect the cashier's check?

just kidding! I appreciate the positive comment, but I'm sure if you search the board a little, you'll find many, MANY other turbo Buicks much nicer than mine.

Bump for this sharp car. Rob, thanks for showing it to me and the chat.

If I had the funds, I would be all over it. Bad timing on my part :( - someone's getting a nice ride!

'87 GN FOR SALE in Texas - UPDATE and New Pics

I have swapped the TE-45a for a TE-44. The 44 also has a polished compressor housing and is in excellent condition. The car is *much* more responsive now - it's running great! (now I really hate to sell it :frown: )

I have also installed the "Big Mouth" cold air kit.

I have 30 new pictures showing more details of the car's condition. Please email me for these pics. I'll send you a Zip file that's about 1.8 megs.

Thanks,
Rob
