Hey gang,

It's time to hopefully cure the skip/surge at light throttle issue with new injectors and a TT chip, but I'll bet the stock pump has to go also.

I'm considering the 60lb injectors with Erics chip.
My guess is I'll have to go with something like a Walbro 340 and an adj regulator set at 60.

Might as well get the hot-wire kit also.

My goal is low/mid 12's on 93 with alky. But we know I'm gonna want more in the future. Undecided which adj wastegate system to use,or which alky kit to use at the moment.

Any input appreciated.

Stock pump won't hardly keep up with stock injectors, let alone any bigger. A W340/0169 will supply enough fuel for 55#'s maxed out (100% DC) or 60's at a lower DC. A Denso -1020 or Bosch 044 will handle 60's fine. Hot wire is a must. Base FP can be set at 45.

Hi,
Damn, you mean my Walbro won't keep up with my planned upgrade to 50s? I'll have to get that inline Bosch I was planning on.I saw a Mercedes 560sel the other day at pick u part with a pair of them.As far as duty cycle is concerned, aren't these pumps hardwired to run continuously? My Riviera varies fp,but these ancient beasts don't. Nowadays, they pulse the pump digitally. What BS! I won't get into why that is a bad idea, except to say that opening and closing a circuit millions of times can't be a good idea. That's it, I'm thru venting against technology.

A W340/0169 will be fine with 50's.

When I mentioned duty cycle, it is referring to injector duty cycle, not the pump. Yes you are right that the pumps run continuously.
