87 Monte Carlo Ss Valve Body

Hey guy I just found a valvebody from a 87 M/C ss for $75!
Is there any thing I need to watch out for on this new valvebody. I have the torque converter wiring harness that runs on vaccum to lock up the converter. I thought I had read long ago that the valvebodies in 87 and later 200-4r control converter lock. Is this true? What do I need to do if this is correct?

No, it was applications in the early '80s that had a governor pressure-controlled TCC valve in the valve body. The '87 units relied on the ECM to actually command lock-up so you'll be fine.
