 I am considering installing a rear trunk "air-foil" or "spoiler" (the factory one) on my 87 Regal.
If you have one, say price and "if you can" ... what's all involved in installing one atop of a car that's "never had it".
IOW could you tell me "what all's" involved in mounting one ? ... easy ? , "hard" (I think not).

I'm kinda on the fence with the idea (and I see their avail. in the after-market) ....
but I thought I'd try for one here too not only find one ... but poss. get some advice as to what's all involved installing the thing.

"NO hole making's VERY appealing for example" !

Thanks for any advice / thoughts / or "what-ever". :)

The factory spoiler is bolted on. Pretty easy job, though. :)

Thanks John ... "I spose it was a stupid question" ... ;) I guessed it wouldn't be much work tho (after the painting).

Actually it is a little harder than that. They do make a stick on one held on with 2 sided tape but i have heard of allot of them falling off after being exposed to the wet weather and the tape loosing its sticky. Now if you go for the bolt on and you have the non spoiler quarter extensions you will need to buy the spoiler quarter extensions as they have a flat mounting flange on the underside for the nuts to tighten up against, then for the trunk spoiler you will need to drill access holes on the second skin of the trunk lid to gain access to install the 5 or 6 nuts holding that piece on. If you find a factory spoiler for sale get the 5 piece set as it will come with the quarter extensions with the mounting flange. HTH
