useta, yes, I have joined the site but not a lot of activity or info there, but at least their is a site, kinda hoping some one on here also has some info as far as compatibility of parts go.

too bad, there's a big following for those daytona turbos. I would think there's a few people out there tuining these. I think it would be fun:cool:

As far as parts compatibility, I dont think a whole lot will work between the Gbody and Jbody turbo cars. I do know that getting rid of the cat conv and then running a 2 1/8 or 2 1/4 exhaust all the way back to a decent flowing muffler, will help tremendously in the turbo lag dept. Then fabbing you a cold air intake with a nice cone filter will give nice bang for the $$ as the stock air intake on those kinda sucked. There are a few aftermarket cams for those engines too. I could be mistaken, but I believe there is an adjustable FPR that will work on those as well. A step in the right direction anyhow :)

I know there was a website dealing with building the Jbody cars, I'll do some digging and see if I can find it for you.

going to fab up a CAI on this unit, next will have to figure out how to install a AFPR, it is in a very ugly place, I will be looking to have it be remote mounted
and will have to fab up some lines to do so, but that will have to wait til I get the 89 sunbird conv. turbo's timing belt and water pump replaced, then go from there, the pontiac will remain basically stock while i see what the 87
skyhawk is capable of, I will also talk to Eric@ TT and see what he has to say about proms for these vehicles, thanks
