88 LeSabre T Turbo 3800

Cut and pasted the only info I could find on it. Just ran across it. I posted it in the 3800 lounge for those guys. Pretty neat set up.

The first car we ever turbocharged, way back in 1989, was this amazing 1988 LeSabre T-type. The first year for the then-revolutionary 3800 V6 FWD, this car looked for all the world like what the next Grand National would have been, has they made one. The turbosystem really delivered, with four seconds knocked off the 1/4 ET and a 60-80 mph passing performance that was simply scary. A FWD Grand National? Why not!

Despite being wrong wheel drive, I like the look of those cars.
For a second, I was looking at that pic and forgot the hood opens to the front on those..lol.
PS. There was a FWD GN. 86 LeSabre GN. Not turbocharged however!
