Thanks!! it seems tough to sell unfortunately... :(

not really

i would be more interested in an 89 TTA if:
I could get a warranty of any kind on it
get full coverage ins. and that would cover the full amount that u would have to replace it, etc.
they almsot make you have a daily driver and then classic ins etc in order to have one.
i don't have any bills but i do have bad credit which def puts a cramp in my style
for health reasons 2nd and 1st i did get overextended but i had to learn so........
keep trying i'm sure that thing will sell soon
i have had my truck in auto trader for 9 months and no one has even came to look at it and i got maybe 4 calls in 9 months now that's sad!

Warranty is never ever gonna happen on a 14yr old car... Full coverage like that is possible while my company (GEICO) that i insure with and work for doesnt, many companies offer stated value policies after an appraisal.

I need to sell soon... I found a car i really wanna buy..... it will be gone soon

Buy mine and I'll give you a "Two Tail light" warranty ;)

#907 22k
9.75 of 10 inside and out.
Formerly Russ Solerno's car

It rides kind of stiff, and squeeks, but, after a couple of WOT bursts, it doesn't matter any more

Its a stepchild to both the Buick and Pontiac crowds :(

Its the better hot rod though, hands down :D

Those TTA's on eBay right now are steals as far as I'm concerned. When the economy turns around again, they will sell for 20% more.

TTA #14 and #182 at Indy
15,121 miles
t-top/cloth
9 2/3's out of a 10 condition
Ran 11.61 at 119+ on pump and alky
Mods are: TE44, 50's, Walbro, Dutt neck IC, Spohn torque arm and panhard bar, SMC alky kit and tons of tuning.
Love everyhting about it! It's all and more the TR's should have been.

I think its somewhere around 1454-1456 I don't remember the exact build.

107K miles, Outside is probably a 7 out of 10, it has small dings and the wing is getting old. It's a 10 foot car. Inside is being redone right now with new carpet and other things like a rollbar :D Its not a show car, I bought it to go racing and that exactly what I do with it but it still looks nice sitting in the staging lanes.

It has been a best of 11.25@121 with the stock unopened motor. A rebuild is in progress now and looking for consistent (and reliable) high 10s that can easily be driven to the track.

Pro's - Rediculously easy to run 11s if you know what the deal is. My car went 11.77 with less than $1000 worth of parts on DOTs and 11.82 on Nittos exactly how I drove it on the street. Nothing else I have seen can do it so easy for something in this price range.

Nobody knows what the car is, easy to get races, fun to make them count the spark plug wires after.

Quiet and smooth, no stupid idles or large convertors needed.

Cons - Parts are scarce and expensive, not just for the TTA but for turbobuicks in general. Everything is discontinued.

Rattles, Squeaks, Windnoise, leaky T-tops basically all the things that suck about F-bodys.

Truthfully, if it wasn't for the motor I wouldn't own the car. I don't LOVE the car. I love the drivetrain.

Not a flame and please don't take it that way but anyone that has 62 miles on a TTA has no dea what a TTA is all about until you leave the line holding the E-Brake with 15psi running racegas with the boost gauge in the red tripping the timing lights at 11 seconds in a car that didn't need much more than a Chip, Filter, Gas and Tires.

Thats what makes these cars so SICK.

Mine is no. 1401, t-top/leather w/ around 135,000 or so. Bought it w/ around 125,000. Been fixing little things on it since I have had it. No dings and it shines beautifully. Just got the front clip painted and doors rehinged/pinned. Outside is around a 7 out of 10. Would be better when I get the wing fixed. Then it will be around a 8 to 9 out of 10. Real eye sore right now.

Need new carpet because it seems to be fading and driver seat re-upolstered(sp?). Always clean on the inside but some minor eye sores. Time will fix those problems.

I know how you feel TTA89. My car has alot of mile on her so I am going to drive it and race the hell out of it. Need to get the roll cage if my plans go like I want them to.;)

Yea, she has alot of rattles and what not but it only adds character. I love the car because it easy to work on but sometmes hard to find out what your problem is.

TTA #797

34,000 miles

I'd say it is an 8 out of 10 inside and out.

Pros - Just like everyone else. Faster than crap without much work. I'm running 12's without doing much of anything!

Cons - It is the ultimate stepchild of the auto world. No one knows whta it is, and no availability of parts.
I also wish it was black like the GN. hmmmmm, I guess I could paint it.........

Not to hyjack your thread, but....

I raced a black Trans Am in Kansas City when I was "buying" the car....It was soon a "dot" in the rear view mirror....You don't want a black one ;) A black T/A is uninteresting.

The TR has fairly large, fairly flat sides of sheet metal that make the car a head turner when its black. Our cars are blessed with smooth, curvey, sexy lines, NOT as flashy as the GN is in black. Our lines are sexy, not straight and flat :) White fits the personality better and is easier to keep up.
