I'm better now. :D I wasn't responding to the actual thread since I don't have experience with the 9/11 converter. But I was responding to the posts starting to question his service and products. It seemed like part of this thread was heading towards the old "budget roller cam" days... I'm calm now, and once again, sorry if anyone took it the wrong way, but the original question is VERY good and that was not what got me going. :) But I can say that this question might get better responses in the tranny section. But who knows... :)

I have a bunch of Bruce's billet stuff in my transmission as well. I have nothing but good things to say about Bruce's pieces or his service.

I have no doubt that if I determine there is a problem with his converter that he would help me out.

Perhaps, it would be wise to wait until someone actually posts something unfactual about Bruce or his products before going off on a tirade.

As for as the budget roller episode. So far that piece of crap has cost me over $3000. I have plenty of company in that experience and there is no question that it was crap. I am not sure how you equate budget rollers with a discussion on converter lock up but I guess it takes all kinds.

This needs to be said.

No offense and I LOVE you all, but Steve is correct. This has nothing to do with Me or My products as far as a flame or complaints with service. It was an inquiry to one specific product.
I was out of town ( which I always am when this stuff shows up, conspiracy, hrmm I wonder LOL) and only wish I could have replied in the begining of the thread. I was just trying to have some fun with Steve but again I guess he wasnt up for it today.
Please, I know you all care , but I dont think this was an attack on me and I didnt take as such.
However,
The question at hand is not only a good one but the fact that I get to put to rest any concerns only helps the product and the Patrons who are using and /or contemplating a purchase there of. I have nothing to hide and will continue to answer all.

Thanks guys for the support, as It is always nice to know when you make a difference. :D

Bruce, with regard to keeping you on your toes?

I am looking for a part time job, not a full time position! :)

No harm done. If you do not agree with something I say here, or elsewhere, jump in and correct me. I am always willing to learn.

You are the guy that told me that Yank was as good as it gets but at twice the price. For the money, I don't see anything that compares with the 9/11. Altho mine seems to be slipping after it is locked up at this point, I was careful to say it needed more testing. I am quite aware that it may not be the fault of the converter. :)

Must be the puppy chow!

or, maybe that extra scoop of coffee in the coffee maker this morning.
well coffee cup is empty and I must go to work <G>
back to the grind, and the bench. :)
Man I hate to type.

Part Time job eh?
yes wife says same thing, policing me is a full time job.

Altho, dont knock it till you hear what it pays....LOLOLOL:D

Back to the 2004r world.
See you all tonight. BT:)

Ok....now that everyone is all HUGGY and KISSY face again and the one poster knows we ARE NOT trying to disembowel Bruce, then can we be seated and get back to the original question.::D

Crack...Did someone say crack...?

Although I havent had my 9-11 very long , before i tossed a gasket i can tell you this, My TE45 never spooled better  . I made 2 changes to the car , a speed pro and a 911 converter. In between the 2 ,i picked up 4 MPH in the 1/8 with 4# lbs less boost than before. Take that for what its worth.;)
