Hey Bryan, what is the general consensis on this torque converter. I am going to pull my motor to change head gaskets and want to do a torque converter at the same time. What do you guys that have it think? Is it worth the money? What is the going price for this converter? I am looking for a true 3000 stall. What does the 9/11 stall to? I would like to stay with a lockup converter.

i have enjoyed the 9/11 convertor,... it revs alot quicker than the stock D5 convertor
here are what they all weigh
stock D5 convertor 46 #'s
9/11 convertor 36 #'s
precision 9.5 32 #'s

you will enjoy the 9/11 convertor cause you can lock it up just like the stock convertor.. and it weighs 10#'s less :)
i think you can pick up the convertor for 550.00

you need to call bruce and give him the specs of your motor combo... that will be the deciding factor of what it will stall out to..
im thinking mine is around 3000 rpms with out the t-brake.

id would definitely try it out, maybe we can get a discount.. im looking to buy one for my tta here sometime soon.. hth
