im not to up on the converter details, and all i can tell you right now is that mines a poston 10" i think non lockup
so for my combo what do you recomend and should i switch to a lock up???? for track reasons, meaing better times
 
converter for sale

non lu for track
lock up for street
either 9 or 10 inch will work......
art carr converter for a nonlock up
pat's performance converter for a lockup
 
id use our 10.5 inch billet cover lock up converter with 3200 /3400 stall. give us a ring if you are interested.
 
POSTON

I JUST SENT BACK A POSTON 10" 3200-3400 N/LU. IT STALLED AT 2600/2700 NO WHERE NEAR WHAT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO:mad:
 
the poston 10 inchers are jw converters.they are not selling ours as of yet.

What is your car's mission in life?.
The smaller the converter the more heat it generates, since there's more slippage.

IMO, for anything on the street, a good lockup converter is the best answer.

Try and get to drive a few cars with different converters so you can guage what's important to you.

If your out to go 10s, then a 9" non lockup, is about the best answer, IMO. Non Lock up is going to be lighter, and quickier to acclerate in 1st gear, which helps with the 60' time.
