94 le saber pulses/surges

My car pulses a little or surges. It feels like a short stall, jerk, etc. I notice it after backing off the throttle a little at highway speeds. I've driven the car about 7K miles in the last three months and other than this new symptom, the car runs and pulls fine. The car has 38K miles, new fluid and filter in the trans. Thanks for the help.

I just returned from an errand when I was coasting up to a stop light and the engine died. It started right back up and ran fine the rest of the way home. I'm not sure what to make of it...

Make sure your engine isnt missing at high speeds. When the converter is locked up, any missfire with be transfered to the wheels, jerking the car.

Just though I mention that first. You can test to see by tapping the brake pedal enough to make the lockup turn off.
