My blower motor was shot when I bought my GN.I replaced it and only getting air at floor vents with selector in any of the positions. What should I check first?
Mine was the selector switch (ac,vent, heat, etc)that was bad, has a few vacuum lines that hook to the back and was leaking pretty easy fix and part still available at most parts store for 30.00 or less
There are 2 vac lines that run in to the car. One is from head to the heater control valve. The other is the vac source to the control head. Very first thing is make sure that line is enact and you have vac on it.

Thanks for pointing that out very good point when the control switch goes out on most i've changed you could still get it to function on floor and some times defrost still though its a 20+ year part for 30.00 or less is not a bad idea to change to eliminate vacuum leaks in the future

Just fixed it.Traced all vacuum, found crack in check valve by drivers valve cover.changed valve, still blowing on floor.Pulled switch out of dash and the plastic manifold that all the vacuum lines connect to had come apart and was broken where it is put together.went out to the shop and one of my spare dases had the switch still in it,got the manifold off of it and now it works Great. Thanks for the help!!!!
My Limited did that years ago and the door at the floor was not sealing up due to the foam that it sealed against had deteriorated, but I also think it could be the selector switch or the manifold like in my above post.I would check that first as they are replaceable without replacing the whole switch assembly.
