just like it sounds im stuck on the a/c comp. cant find that last bolt to get it off. any diagrams cause my book dont show it.

hope it helps

There are three areas to remove nuts and bolts from. One is a through stud that is attached to the main accessory bracket. The only thing that comes off there is one 15MM nut. Also, there are two bolts and nuts that go through the accessory bracket and compressor that need to be removed. 15MM wrenches will do it. The one that your probably not getting is the lowest one which is pretty much adjacent to the ground as far as its location on the compressor. Dont be fooled, it may look like its not supposed to be removed but, it has to be. Good luck!!

thanks derek it was hell getting off cause i had to go through the bottom but now its off and im close to pulling the motor. this is fun man if i didnt pull the motor i wouldnt be learning all of these parts. speaking of parts i believe its called the boost gauge sensor? does it do anything other than send it to the ecm?

Hey Chris,
Thats the best way to learn. Do it yourself. The object mounted on the driver side valve cover is called the wastegate solenoid. That has to be plugged in or else the computer will throw a code and retard the timing thus resulting in a loss of power. Even if you dont hook it up to a boost source, leave it connected to the ECM. The one located on the drivers fender is called a Manifold Air Pressure sensor and that relays the info to the digital boost gauge on your dash. That too must be plugged in and must sense boost/vacuum or it will throw out a code. Good luck and have fun. Its fun unless you have to do it repetitively. Do it RIGHT the first time and youll be happy.
