A/C compressor wiring

Hi Guys. I am glad the site is up and running again. Thanks to all who helped fix it. I just replaced the A/C compressor on my 1987 GN and have an electrical question. The original compressor that I removed had a two wire plug on the back of the compressor and the replacement does not. I have it all together and am ready to evacuate it and am not sure of the purpose or what to do about the extra wire. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance. Ed

Thats the high pressure cut out. You have to swap that out of the old compressor. There is a snap ring that holds it in. sometimes they are a bitch to get out .
