My lower speed fan setting on the a/c quit working yesterday. All I have now is "high". What would cause this? Thanks, R.B.

Check the fuses then...

Check and clean the ground wire at the blower motor. Take a test light and with the blower switch on high (key on) see if you get current on the "hot" wire of the blower under the hood. If you don't theres a connector behind the A/C control head that usually melts and causes a bad connection. It's a single wire connector and is dark brown I believe. You might have to do a little searching for this wire.

Thanks for the help. When you say "check the fuses", is there more than one fuse for the a/c? If so, where are they located? Thanks, R.B.

Theres A Little Metal Blower Speed Relay That Is Bolted To The Case Right Next To The Blower Motor. I Changed Mine Last Week For No High Speed. They Go For About 5 Bucks And Fail Often. There Is Also A Resistor Thats On Top Of The Box Under The Hood They Go From Time To Time Also. My Money Is On The First One I Mentioned.

Thanks for all the help guys. I wiggled the little silver metal connector beside the blower motor and it started working. R.B.
