A/C system rebuild info needed

hey guys
anybody know how much oil should be in the a/c sytem and how much where . i am going back to r12 already have plenty of it , but cant find info on what oil to use and how much and where it should go in

R-12 uses a mineral oil. If the system has been converted to R-134 the you'll need to do a complete flush before adding anthing to it.

yes i have taken everything off the car and flushed it out , replaced the heater core so even took the evaporator out and flushed along with condensor all lines and just got a new compressor as mine was leaking so everything is fresh and clean but i cant find specs on how much oil is supposed to be in the system and how much of the oil goes where ? in compressor etc

I believe it's a total of 8 ounces of oil.
