From the cross-town team, it's not breaking any confidences to say that the backgrounder revealed persuasive new designs from Saturn, Chevrolet and, intriguingly, a Buick production car capable of raising one's pulse for the first time in years.

Old news. The Buick mentioned in that article is most likely the 08 Enclave.

No, that's not it. The Enclave has already been unveiled and this story, dated 12/18, is speaking about 2008-2010 product. Besides, I don't think the Enclave will raise anyone's pulse.

I'm optimistic about what may be coming because there's been a lot of serious chatter about GM returning to RWD cars in the coming years. It's working for Cadillac. I've had enough of FWD, minivans, SUV, CUV, etc.
