A new grand baby

Check out this pic of my new grandson.

Extremely good looking therefore he takes after me.

After being born and leaving the hospital they had to return him two days later as he was jaundiced. Spent a couple of days under some type of fancy lighting system and he's back to normal and doing well.

They named him Roman ..... and since that sucks in my opinion I now call him Nevada. ( Hey, I like that name.) After many instances of me calling him Nevada, my daughter got pissed and told me to stop calling him that. I replied that if you're mad now wait until I start calling your next child Arizona. (Yes, I like that name also.)

I caught my grandson under the car playing, and couldn't resist the "Kodak" moment. The wrench is as big as he was.

As a Grandfather it is ur right to call him anything u want! Furthermore it is also ur right to spoil that baby soo bad that he will drive his mother crazy . Also Ill bet that trip back to the hospital for the lil guy was only to check out the hot nurses again! By the way My Dad calls my son Timothy "Tim Tim" and he calls my nephew Patrick "Boomer", so I think ur daughter shpould consider herself lucky ur not as bad as my Dad.

He's handsome, congradulations! My dad has nick names for all his grandkids, here is a few to share with your daughter, maybe she will change her mind on yours:

Lambchop
Bean
shlipmale

It goes on and on! It personalizes his relationship with each kid, no matter how weird the nickname. But if you ask the kids, they like that Pap has a special name for them.

I have to laugh about you calling the baby Nevada. My youngest was born last Holloween so my father insists on calling her Boo.

I'm on my first child... we caught him checking the tire pressure one day

When I was 4, my parents found me on the hood of my mom's car in teh carage sanding away w/ 60 grit sandpaper! Dad wasn't happy then, but he finds it to be a good memory now.

I'm going to print out all these good wishes for my daughter, husband and new baby and take them down to them. They'll really appreciate them.

And I agree, he is cute. Most newborns are ugly little blobs of varied colors and texture (and mine were no exception....when I saw them I told the doctor to put them back) but little Nevada was cute from when he was born. The only flaw was his head...it was oblong. They'd had to use what I call a toilet plunger to pull him out of the birth canal so they'd stretched his head...lol. Notice I took the pic from the front.
