A pillar gauge pod removal help

I was looking to mount the LED for the alcohol system by the boost gauge on the A Pillar but since it was on the car when I got I dont know how it's attached. It's a 2 gauge unit that is on the factory trim with it looks like 4 push pins to hold it on . It covers the lower screw judging from the passenger side so I figure the pod has to come off to pull the trim to run the wire. Thought I'd get some tips to minimize the damage I am bound to do
to it.

Unless there are caps over screws, most likely held on with some two sided tape.

That's what I am concerned about. It has 4 plastic buttons at the corners that look to be hiding something..,. I'll probably screw up the paint taking them out...this car is a royal PITA to do anything on. It cost twice as much to go half as fast too and has more things to make it go boom that I like to think about..,..
