I'm collecting parts, getting ready to send my heads to the machine shop. I was searching for recommendations on valve seals, and found a thread about using TTA Valves. I think I have it figured out but I'd like some confirmation that I am going in the right direction.
1. Buicks don't use seals on the exh valve from the factory.
2. The factory exh valves have grooves.
3. I have a cam with .459 lift, so I will have to get the guides cut.
4. If I have to get the guides cut I need to run seals on the exhaust valves.
5. The groove in the factory valves will chew up seals so I have to go with TTA Valves.
Am I on the right track? If so, any recomendations on what type of valves to get? Thanks in advance.
