I fitted my alky control system a couple of weeks back. Its a superb kit and i've joined the Julio fan club!
Here's the query and its a little convoluted. Whilst checking for high idle BLMs which had risen coincidentally after fitting the alky kit, I detached my TB vac block and taped over the hole. No change in BLMs so I suspected a problem with the up pipe, hoses etc.
I went to the alky nozzle and found that it was hand tight (not loose!), with car running I sprayed carb cleaner at the aky nozzle and experienced a slight raise in rpms
When i fitted the nozzle I only used the supplied washer piece on the inside of the up pipe, used a cork washer on the outside to allow space for the internal nozzle filter.
Finally (still reading:smile:), i'm going to fit the nozzle with both supplied washer pieces and check again. Just wondering if it's possible that my idle BLMs could have been affected by my install?

Yep, I used loctite and will do so again, i'll probably order new up pipe hoses as well, they seem to be quite old.

You need both washers to stop any boost leaks.
