A small dent in my fender

Small dent???

Someone backed into it. The hood didn't get hurt but it was close and it almost got my new RJC IC. It took a while to find nice parts and I started prepping them for paint today. After the front is fixed I have to pull the transmission and replace it again.

Just hurt feelings, it was an unfortunate mistake. I have to take some of the responsibility because I had just installed glass bumpers and the damage most likely would not have gone beyond the factory bumper.

Ouch, I feel your pain. Even small rock chips bum me out.

I repaired and painted the car around twenty years ago and it seems to have had a target on it since then. It's been hit by a lawn mower, bicycles, wheelchair, bird crap (damaged the paint in a few areas) and a guy fell out of a F-350 parked next to it and slammed the door against it causing a football size dent. So now when something new happens I'm kind of numb to it.

Well at least I work at a body shop but I can think of better ways to spend my days off, you know like pulling the transmission.

It started slipping on the 1-2 a few days before this happened. I'm probably going with a 400 this time around.

I can't find it on the RPO code,
but I'm pretty sure they used that special magnetic paint on mine...

I tried to straighten a curve when I was 16 with the same results, there's more to the story but we will leave it at that.
